What if your key competitor already has significant political sponsorship?
• When evaluating a new opportunity - are we aligned?
• If not a great fit, consider walking away.
• If a great fit then be confident, so worth pushing to diminish the incumbent’s hold.
• Change the landscape – use an outflanking/indirect strategy rather than full frontal attack.
• Create and sustain your ‘unfair’ advantage. (Maintaining a confident mindset, balanced with active listening vital.)
