We usually think we need to DO something in order to feel better.
Fix something, change someone, make more money, solve a problem...etc.
I want to offer that no emotion is "bad"... in fact, we want to be able to feel it, understand WHY we're feeling it, and then let it go (FULLY).
With a little drama as possible.
Here's my process which is SO SO helpful in simply letting myself feel shitty before thought work or blatant numbing out or springing into reaction mode.
