Art is the source that breathes life into the human experience. In this new episode series, we look to highlight artists and their work. This series aims to show the depth of expression in art that goes beyond monetary gain or public fame. In this first episode, we invite Curtis Johnson (@artcujo). Curtis, an educator and artist based in Atlanta, offers a look into his journey as an artist. He was a former student-athlete from Sewanee: The University Of The South while also being involved in the visual arts. We talk about the dichotomy between athletics and art, his start as a print artist, and what is the true value of art.
