Money is always a topic of discussion we stay away from. I've always been taught that you don't talk about how much you make with co-workers, friends and/or family. Well, in 2019 I took paying off Alvaro and my debt into my own hands and paid every open-ended loan we had and left my car payment (close-ended loan) to keep some kind of credit reporting loan active. Debt really felt like a never ending cycle of giving our money away to loan creditors and having most of the payment go to interest. It's a place I never want to go back to. I'm working on how I handle money and learning to let loose of the reigns a little bit when it comes to spending unplanned expenses. I don't want this to be a episode where people think I'm being conceded because I'm not struggling. I struggle in many aspects of my life that I have yet to share. I sacrificed a lot to get our debt paid off and have put lots of things on hold in order to get where we are today. Take this episode as you want, but I know I can't make all my listeners happy and really I don't care. I'm speaking my truth.
