In the gospel of Mark we read the story of Bartimaeus, a blind beggar. In bible times, they did not have access to the technology and aid like we do today. Think about the amount of people that wear glasses or contacts today. They would have been severely limited in those days, and most likely had to beg. Bartimaeus was not the only beggar out there, yet he is the one that Jesus healed. What made him different?
