everyone wants to be contagious
susceptible to all reforms and demands
I am the infected
subject to their growing anti-bodies
vaccines and witchdoctor quotes
that are supposedly the best for my well-being
everyone points
and looks on with shame
as if it's I, who chose the name
send me back in time
where I was mere slime
and was as much tabula than taboo
somehow I made it through
remarkable then, regrettable now
