This week on the podcast, I’m delighted to share a conversation that I have with my dear friend, Natasha Mooney Walton. She tells her story of how she connected deeper with her identity by coming out as non-binary. Throughout her life and career she explained that there were a lot of things that caused pain and adversity. And by going through a big journey and accessing her true self and gender identity, she was able to find alignment and strength in multiple areas of her life.
As a friend and podcast host, I am proud to share stories of people from marginalized communities like Natasha. I think they are some of the most courageous because they have to work harder, and do it with less resources and support, and oftentimes some opposition.
As a BIPOC woman, being marginalized is kind of a part of my identity. And this month I’ve decided to put a focus on the topic of identity - how race, gender, and age plays a role and how to surrender to who we are to live a more fulfilling life.
Excited to share over the next few weeks!
