“A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten

no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe.”

Have you ever been completely broken, devastated or disappointed by a situation in your life? I know all of us face challenges at some point in our lives. For me, this lead to dark places and a fear of seeking out help.
This week we delve into the story of this amazing woman who had bled for 12 years. She is in the gospels of Matthew, Luke and Mark and her story is one of hope, of faith over fear and disappointment and of identity restored.
Thinking of context of when this took place, the people who were present at the time and the actions of the woman and Jesus, what does this mean for us and those we share the gospel with?
