This episode of ennodoppam is a tribute to Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja who is celebrating his 78th birthday on June 2nd. Ilayaraja is a prominent composer of film music in South Indian cinema from the late 1970s to till date with many hits. His work integrated Tamil folk lyricism and introduced broader Western musical sensibilities into the South Indian musical mainstream.
