(48) Ross Morisson How A Tree Stump In Cape Breton Became An Alter For Christ

Listen Later

From a Tree Stump, in the highlands of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, Ross Morrison, came out of the forests of the Highlands where he worked in forestry and silviculture, because he found Christ in the Middle of creation, while siting on a tree Stump. Blaming everyone else for his problems for years, as he suffered, wasn't happy, had many broken relationships. Then Christ made it clear to him n that tree stump, you are the problem.

He wept on that stump for the next five hours.

It lead him to find Christ, His Kingdom, His Church, and a Jesus follower who is now his wife, she is names Wendy.

Walking together they grew in Christ, then considered Ministry. That was it.... They landed in Toronto, for biblical studies for 5 years. Ministering to a small mission church for five years while attending Ministry training, and soon after came to my stomping grounds, in Alberton Prince Edward Island. We meet around 2000-2001.

Ross is the Minister at Alberton Baptist Church, a thriving gospel centered church in the heart of the town. A beacon of hope and light in the region.

Appreciate Ross very much, as he is is laser focused on Christ. Has an incessant, and a never fading love for the Gospel of Christ, the Church of Jesus, and shepherding people.  He has been an encouragement to me, and i know to you also.

This was Ross's first ever time on any podcast, a new experience. So If you hear this, and know Ross, reach out and give him some encouragement.

Enjoy!
