About Kerstin Pilz:
Dr Kerstin Pilz is a published author, former academic with almost 20 years university teaching experience and a writing for wellbeing coach who runs her own online business and writing retreats in Australia & Hoi An and an intrepid traveller who has visited more than 55 countries.
Her travel features have appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, The New York Times and travel industry magazines and anthologies.
When tragedy turned her life upside-down, she discovered the healing power of writing and left her tenured university position to follow her twin passions of writing and travelling.
She moved to Hoi An in 2016 and set up a popular online business, www.writeyourjourney.com, that allows her to share the tools that helped her transform, grow and heal.
She is currently in Australia, thanks to the pandemic, and finishing her memoir Falling Apart Gracefully.
In her recent TEDx talk about The Healing Power of Writing she talks about why writing can help us heal and grow.
