Rick Sanchez is joined by show producer Scotty Mednick and they discuss the recent incident in San Antonio, Texas where a police officer shot and seriously injured a 17-year-old Latino male after mistaking him for a wanted criminal. Erik Cantu was shot 10 times while sitting in his car in a McDonald’s parking lot eating hamburgers with his girlfriend. The officer did not identify himself as a law representative, did not follow proper police procedure, and has since been fired by the SAPD. Sanchez then welcomes indigenous activist Christian Porrier to discuss the truth about Christopher Columbus and the atrocities that he committed against the indigenous people who inhabited the countries he discovered. History books paint him as a hero, but his actions and the reign of terror he launched across the Caribbean islands and their people make him more of a monster.
