Alistair Humphreys, National Geographic’s Adventurer of the Year joins us to talk about getting out of your comfort zone and encouraging people to do something they’ve never done.   Alastair is the author of 9 books, a motivational speaker, has cycled around the world, rowed across the Atlantic, and walked across India.    But Alastair tells me, “Adventure is only a state of mind.”  His concept of microadventures is an excellent way to balance your life even if you can’t escape to India by foot. A microadventure is an adventure that is close to home, cheap, simple, short, and yet very effective.
