On this show, I am joined by Melissa Quinn of One Heart Yoga Cayman.

We focus our discussion on anxiety, and ways of navigating anxiety. We talk about:

For those of you living in the Cayman Islands, Melissa and I are running a workshop on Sunday 14 January from 1:30PM to 4:00PM EST called: TENSION TO TRANQUILITY: YOGA, BREATH WORK & OTHER STRATEGIES FOR NAVIGATING ANXIETY. 

The workshop is for anyone who experiences or who has experienced anxiety.

  • Why it’s important to acknowledge and accept that anxiety is happening when it hits
  • Breath techniques to calm anxiety
  • To question and challenge your thoughts that can lead to anxiety
  • Day-to-day strategies for building mental resilience
  • How to reconnect with your body when anxiety hits

  • Real time techniques to be used in real life
  • Handouts to keep
  • Post-session accountability exercises to do in your own time.
