Tony began focusing his energy on starting several nonprofit parent advocacy organizations looking to reform the child-welfare system. Tony is the co-founder and vice president of the board for “Family Justice Resource Center” (FJRC), http://famjustice.org/; He’s the co-founder and Board President of “Parents Overcoming Welfare-System Regulations” (P.O.W.R), and the co-founder of “International Parent Advocacy Network” (IPAN), an international parent advocacy group. https://www.parentadvocacy.net/edinburgh-gathering/.
Tony remains committed to advocacy and justice for people of color throughout this city and remains committed to serving his community. Tony’s favorite quote is “life is 10% of what happens and 90% of how you react to it.” His life is the perfect example of that.
