PODCAST 49 AND FEELIN' FINE.What can I say, about Rick O'Shea?(#poetry) He has worked in Irish radio for almost 25 years and has achieved so much in that time. He wanted to be an accountant when he was younger but soon left that dream behind to pursue a life on-air. He's been there and done it all even winning Celebrity Mastermind in 2002. I won an All Ireland, bronze 60m hurdles medal when I was 13 so I can relate to Rick as a fellow winner. His book club is hugely popular and he is constantly working at book festivals, talking to authors and reading ceaselessly which sounds like a ruddy dream life.Rick and I sat under a tree outside RTE Radio Centre earlier this summer with the Fair City set in the background and it was wonderful to get to chat with him about his long and winding career. I am 80% happy for all of his success and I hope you enjoy it!
