Some people describe Ioana Petresco as a one woman show.

She is known for her skills behind the camera as a director, cinematographer; but also for her in-front of camera presence as an actress and teacher.

Contemporary beauty often has no substance, no useful message or depth. Ioana’s art comes from answering or exploring the big questions of our existence. She puts together wisdom-recipes gathered from philosophy, psychology, history, spirituality, religion and art.

She runs an online film school - VMA/ Visual Metaphor.

Ioana Petresco completed studies Film/ Cinema/ Video Studies at New York Film Academy and holds a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design from Bucharest National University of Arts
