It's Season six, people! And officially the 50th episode! For this one, the Yes Girls are doing the old switcheroo i.e. stepping into each other's shoes and walking a day in them. Watch the YouTube video diary for evidence. It's called the "old" switcheroo because it has been in the YES challenge parking lot for years.
It was an easy choice as an option for this Season because the wildcard for the next 5 episodes is to see what can be achieved WITHIN a single day while doing, being, and learning something new.
So unlike all other YESpisodes, Season six challenges were done in a couple of hours.
And yes, this was the longest of all of this season's challenges. That's because for Claire to be Akumu and Akumu to be Claire, there was a list of guidelines to follow for an entire day i.e. from morning to evening hours.
So listen in if you're curious about doing your switcheroo challenge or empathy exercise i.e. walking a mile in someone else's shoes, building empathy, empathetic thinking, structuring your perfect day, what a perfect day means, what a normal day looks like for two very different human beings, why testing out a different kind of routine is important, and why stepping outside your comfort is always a good thing and consistently recommended for personal growth. Tune in!
