I send you warm Easter greetings of hope. After such a hard year, we pray to our God for life, love and liberty to emerge once more. As we celebrate the defeat of death, the forgiveness of sins and the unending reign of Christ’s love, we pray that God in his mercy will lead our church, our country and our world into bright new places.
This audio service for Easter Day is also available as a video on our YouTube channel. Either way that you enjoy this service there’s some great Easter music, and a selection of short clips and messages from various city locations. Perhaps a highlight is an interview with Derek and Sandra as they celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary. We will also hear from Jan as she shares about the River Sherbourne Living Landscape Project. The service concludes with holy communion, celebrated in our homes. Please arrange for some bread and wine or juice to be at hand if you’d like to take part.
