February 3, 2019 - When Jesus spoke in the synagog in Nazareth, he was initially regarded with awe by the congregation, but soon they wanted to kill him. Why did they turn on him? Was it because he didn't treat his home town differentially than other towns? Was he too young to be taken seriously? Lesson for us: Be on guard against prejudice and false judgements. As this is Black History month, be proactive, educate yourself, celebrate our black community.
