I've got more and more free time with my daughter having a life of her own as a 17 year old. It gives me time to reflect and ponder life, my life, up to this point. It makes me consider the next moves. But first a strong emotion of pre-empty nest happened tonight and it was quite STRONG. Man, it was tough. I can go about a day handling the days and variables just fine, but this Prom my daughter was preparing for just really got to me. Some, in the distance, finality and reality of my littlest coming into adulthood just around the corner hit me today, and hard.
