Today we hear Jesus bless his disciples with peace—with the caveat, ”I do not give as the world gives.” How is the peace Jesus gives different than what the world gives? How do we experience the peace of Jesus in a time of conflict, violence, and turmoil? 

The peace that Jesus provides may not be the calm we seek, but it is a kind of peace we need the most.
