Whether it is prices on airline tickets or the ripeness of produce at the grocery store, or anything in between, we humans are born to compare. We must compare the importance of tasks on our to-do lists and how to spend our time. We compare schools and job opportunities. Comparing is, at its most basic level, good.

But what happens when we misuse the tool of comparison? What if we use it to judge and determine the value of others or ourselves? How do we fight to believe what God says about us over what others say? And how do we help our neighbors do the same? 

Today we join a woman in Samaria whose story changed the moment she met Jesus, and we get a glimpse of what it looks like to believe Him and live in His truth.
