Alya Mooro is an Egyptian born, London raised freelance journalist.

She has been published in magazines such as Grazia and Refinery29 and has interviewed celebrities such as Ed Sheeran (major jealousy).

Her first book is coming out this September and it's called The Greater Freedom: Life as a Middle Eastern Woman outside the Stereotypes. 

Alya had to figure out who she was and wanted to be in between the two cultures she grew up in and she has done so beautifully.

She likes to say: I am both and neither.
