👋 Hi, and welcome to the 5th full episode of Underestimated Fat Chick, I'm your host, Nicole. In this episode, I  talk about my experience being fat in Ghana, West Africa. I talk about my experience in general, how my body image changed, and the I differences I felt between being fat there vs. fat in the US.  In the second part of the episode, I share journal entries from 2012 and 2013 when I was living there, and then share the audio from 2 separate conversations I had with 2 close friends of mine, who live in Ghana and share their experiences being underestimated and also their perspectives on body image.
