With over 40 years experience I could not wait to sit down with my next guest Carol Smith! 

Carol started her career in London England where she studied hairdressing and aesthetics full time for 3 years at college. After completing her studies Carol went on to join multiple top salons such as Jingles international and Toni and Guy. 

Later an opportunity came up to educate in Hong Kong. She moved there and traveled all across Asia presenting for the company. 

After touring Asia Carol returned to London and back to Jingles to teach at the academy and train junior members of staff.

In 1990 Carol came to Toronto on a one year sponsorship... and is still there ! (Classic)

She has won 2 NAHA's and her work has appeared in numerous magazines.

During her time in Toronto she went back to school and studied wig building and theatrical make up and has worked part time making incredible wigs for the Canadian Opera for the last 25 years.

Carol still works in salon and at the opera but what warmed my heart the most was the knowledge she shares at school career days. Making sure students are aware of the incredible career opportunities the arts can have.
