Today I would like us to look at how the Lord rebukes and chastens his children. This is not a popular topic but it is something we need to consider. If we want to grow as God’s children, then we need to listen to reproofs and correction, and not despise or reject them.

Our verse for today is Revelation 3:19:

"As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

Even though God loves us, he disciplines us and chastens us. Not everything is OK with God, he disapproves of some things.
