The idea of being in stillness is not something that most of us are familiar with. It is a far cry from our fast paced, always on the go, hustle culture. Multi-tasking is the norm, long to-do lists are the standard and every second of the day is scheduled with an activity that needs to be done. Lots of plates spinning, a plethora of commitments scheduled and all of the busyness tends to create a life being lived on auto pilot.
From a place of getting out of the head and into the body, I have discovered the tremendous power that comes from practicing stillness on a regular basis. I invite you for the next 5 days (if not longer) to incorporate this practice into your day because I know the difference it can make, and I promise you will too.
How you choose to be in stillness can vary but here are 10 benefits that I hope will encourage you to start cultivate this as a self care practice, a daily ritual, and perhaps even a lifestyle habit. Below are some of the benefits of practice the art of STILLNESS.
