Join me and guest, Marci Nevin, in a conversation about earning the right to enter into a calorie deficit. This is a difficult truth for many, especially when feeling a sense of urgency to lose weight, but dieting is a stressor on your body because you're giving it less fuel than it requires, and your body needs to be in a good place before dropping calories. The process will be a whole lot harder and more frustrating without having your health, habits, and mindset in a solid place first. Set yourself up for success going in and you will lose the weight and get out of that calorie deficit faster.
Marci is a fitness and nutrition coach based out of Northern California. For the past 12 years she has worked with clients both in person and online, helping them to embrace a love of strength training, while teaching them how to use proper nutrition to fuel their bodies for optimal health, performance, and body composition.
Having overcome disordered eating and over-exercising, Marci now believes that proper nutrition and intelligent strength training, coupled with stress management and daily mindset practices, are at the foundation of people becoming their best, most confident selves. She is passionate about teaching people these tools to help them overcome their struggles so they can have the confidence to live fully and pursue their purpose.
