Besides being the global coffee lead for one of the world's most boundary-pushing (literally) roasting companies, Jak is a competitive ballroom dancer, boxer, and barista champion. His approach to coffee is simple science, and his passion for stand-out hospitality is palpable.
In this episode, we dial in a washed Pacas from Honduras on espresso using yield and grind size. We discuss what separates the goods from the greats in coffee and dance. And most importantly, our Aussie friend says ONCE AND FOR ALL ... What is a flat white? What is a long black?? Why is everyone so OBSESSED with the Melbourne coffee scene???
