The Power of One is real and the difference one life can have on the world is unmeasurable! Helen Dayton is an extraordinary woman who is 90 years young at the time of this interview. She recently passed in 2019 leaving a great legacy of love and service to her family and others. Helen was adopted and at the time of the episode she had never discovered who her real parents were. However, through modern technology and DNA testing, along with the help of her grandson Kevin Klein, she was able to find out who her parents were and other living relatives she had never known! It was a real blessing in her life. Helen was the wife of Dr L Kay Dayton, a mother of 10, grandmother to 45, and great grandmother to 80+. She lived a full life of service to God, her family, her church, and her community. She lost two children to illness and she talks about what she learned from those difficult and challenging times in her life. Helen talks about what it was like being adopted back when she was young and how she overcame the shame and stigma of that.
