People Who Work

5: "It's harder when you're black. And when you're big. And when you're a woman. If you have to fight for it, you're not there yet." Patche Natise, HR Advisor and Plus Size Fashion Blogger.

"I have 7 fabulous sisters who are tall and slim. I was short and big. I had to learn to be confident. I grew up faking it until I made it. I had to learn that being different in my super power. Becoming confident is a process. You have to learn to dress nicely, do things you enjoy and say nice things to yourself".

Quite literally the best conversation I've had all month, maybe year! If you only do one thing this week, listen to this episode - a relaxed, "straight from the couch" conversation with my favourite Parisian Patche Natise. She talks about French culture and its lack of representation, her love affair with the UK, working in a London theatre versus working as a HR advisor in Paris, how she became a plus size fashion blogger and influencer and how you can become confident in your own skin too.

Unpretentious, easy going, kind, honest, heart warming, inspiring and unmissable.
