For the last two and a half years, Jake Funk has been battling ACL injuries keeping him off of the football field.  The former Maryland Gatorade High School Player of the Year and record-setting running back has bided his time, been named a captain, and sitting atop the depth chart for the Maryland Terrapins football team. In Maryland's latest game he made a statement by rushing for over 200 yards alongside Taulia Tagovailoa breaking out to pass for over 300 yards.  Those two stats combined were a first for the program.
