Kyle Nix is a fiddle player for the Turnpike Troubadours and he just released his debut solo album, Lightning on the Mountain & Other Short Stories. Growing up in Perry, Oklahoma, Kyle was inspired and lead to music naturally from his grandfather, who he sings about on his new album. We discussed fond memories of times with the Turnpike Troubadours, writing music, his start into a career of country music and much more.
