Angelo and I come from diverse backgrounds. His parents are Italian immigrants, and he was raised speaking Italian at home and English at school. Evan's dad is American, but his mom is Ecuadorian so he speaks Spanish, but he has also studied Japanese extensively, so he knows quite a bit about Japanese too. We talk about the languages we speak, how we hear each language in daily interactions, similarities and differences, and a bit of history behind each one.
