One of the chief obstacles to the Christian in recovery is false Christianity, just as it is for all believers. Do not be afraid to discern toxic religiosity and oppressive leaders and leave or avoid them. As A. W. Pick once said, -It is better to stay home with your Bible than to attend a false church.- Learn to exercise discernment.
