THE HYPODERMIC KILLER sees a nurse using a needle to destabilize patients under her care.  In a bizarre twist on Munchausen Syndrome, nurse Kristen Gilbert causes heart attacks by injecting epinephrine into her patients, then tries to rescue them with a defibrillator – all the while playing footsie with her security guard lover.  And though no one ever actually witnesses Gilbert injecting patient, exhumation of her victims ultimately proves that they died as a result of intentional homicide by a serial killer that may have slain as many as forty victims.
