One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is an adaptation of the book written by Ken Kesey. It follows Randle McMurphy, or Mac, as he is involuntarily committed to a mental institution full of men with all sorts of illness and frustrations. While messing with the staff, he fights the system by trying to have fun, and build up the confidence of his new friends. However, Nurse Ratched stands in his way as she attempts to traumatize the patients into submission.
