5: Operating and Connecting

My framework focuses on applying your strengths in 3 areas: Operating, Connecting, and Offering.
Starting with Operating: you should not be doing all the things! Don’t drain yourself with unnecessary things. You have permission to delegate tasks. For example, I have hired out production for this podcast instead of doing it myself, like I used to do.
Sometimes all you need to do is approach non-favorite tasks in a different way. If a deadline makes you rage, then don’t approach your work that way.
The Connecting piece is about finding who needs you and approaching those people. I don’t think that your ideal client is a past version of you because everyone has different strengths! Your perfect match is missing a couple of your top strengths in their top strengths and that’s why they need you.
How do you love to show up and talk about your work? What feels good? Do one thing you love in a consistent way and that will sustainably attract your ideal clients.
