This weekend we continue in our series called PERFECT LOVE. In this series we are praying that everyone in our church experiences the power of perfect love. In order to follow Jesus you can't just know about Him, you need to know him personally. This requires that you meet Him and respond to His love and forgiveness. In the letter of 1 John we are learning about the nature of this fellowship or relationship with God through Jesus.
This week we come to the difficult topic of Love. Not love for God but love for other believers. This is hard because other believers are not perfect and act, at times, in ways that make them hard to love. John pushes us past our issues with others behavior, to act like the Disciples of Jesus that we are. This means that we will be able to love each other well even when we don't behave well. Jesus puts His life in us and that life makes us soft hearted towards other believers even when they hurt us.
Join us this weekend as we continue to focus on LOVE, God's love transforming us into the children of God that we are.
