Kristen is a brilliant mind, an avid romance reader, and one of the fearless leaders of the Bad Romance Book Club hosted by Old Town Books in Alexandria VA. Caitlin and Kristen talk about their first romance novels (both by the queen Sarah MacLean, of course), gush about BRBC as the best space for thoughtful conversations about romance and sex jokes, as well as wax poetic about the importance of romance as a genre that is pushing the boundaries of patriarchy. Kristen also gets into the difficulties in obtaining print romances for book club and the limitations of the romance publishing industry (it's way too white, y'all).
