The tech industry is shedding workers at a rapid rate. In the US, over 150,000 tech professionals have been laid off in 2022 and the pace is accelerating. I discuss signs that may indicate that you may be targeted for layoff. Some of these reasons I share aren't legal or fair unfortunately. But they are a reality in the workplace and papered over with corporate talk.

1) Your department or work unit is money loser.
2) Your boss starts treating you differently.
3) You receive an unexpected mediocre or poor performance evaluation.
