#5 | Small Change Creates Big Ripples - Taking Action Within Our Own Circles

Listen Later

Candace and Nichole get together to discuss what can be done on an individual level within our own communities and circles to make lasting change for racial justice.

Candace shares some insight on the connection and differences between Interpersonal racism, institutional racism and systematic racism. Nichole shares the importance of being understanding and how we don’t need to agree with someone in order to understand them.

They also talk about what they’ve been struggling with the past few weeks and the overwhelm that you can experience because of the hoops we have to jump through. Together we can overcome these struggles and by making small changes within our day-to-day, we will begin to create big ripples of lasting change.
