Evan served in the Australian Army between 2010 and 2016, deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan in that time.

He walks us through the recruitment process of being a soldier, the training and the all encompassing desire to be deployed, followed by the shocking reality of combat and its aftermath on the human psyche.
