It's not all tips and tricks. A lot of what you learn when you own a business is the stuff you've been avoiding. There are loads of things I have learned that I did not expect, these are just 5 to get you started.

I thought being a business owner meant knowing your skills, understanding marketing and what makes a brand stick out. What I didn't realize is all the things that made me stick out were things I was able to avoid when working for someone else.

Getting real and honest is what I do. In no way is this to scare you from building. It is a lot of what I learned that I wish someone would have prepared me for or just been there to say "I've been through it too and you still need to create"
