Week 34 of  the PreMed Mondays book covers getting great rec letters.  The key word is great, NOT good!  This is one of the most important aspects of the medical school application (and all applications in general).  The best way for people who have never met you to get a sense of who you are is by listening to what others say.  You've got to get this right.
