We're trying to wrap our heads around open source software licensing. We discuss the main types of licenses (and a few of our favorites!), what it means to violate a license, and take a fun look at a few weird questions. Before you download a "free" open source project to include in your own project, make sure you understand the implications first - not knowing may result in you having to provide your proprietary source code to the world!
