A 5 Year Review by Cinema Studs that takes the retrospective look at contemporary Cinema 5 years prior to the theatrical release of the film and ask if it Stands the Test of Time. Released in August of 2015 Straight Outta Compton is the Musical Biopic that we were all rooting for to be successful as they are a Southern California Rap Group that drastically changed the West Coast sound and Music in general. Growing up listening to N.W.A. We were all excited to rewatch this and discuss how this film's message still resonates in today's social climate of 2021.
