Christie and Nicole are thrilled that they were able to record this week’s episode together from Nicole’s studio (her condo) in Baltimore, MD. In celebration of their sorority’s founder’s day, the dynamic duo includes two of their Sigma Kappa sisters, Natalie and Heather, in a discussion and cost/benefit analysis of wedding attendance and participation.

Many people joke that by being a member of a collegiate Greek community you are simply paying for your friends. What Christie and Nicole have come to find is that sorority dues are nothing compared to the endless amount of expenses resulting from these same friends deciding to tie the knot.

When it comes to weddings and bridesmaiding, Christie and Nicole have many thoughts and opinions and they are not afraid to share them in this episode. Key discussion topics include the cost of being a mere wedding guest, whether or not being the date of a groomsman (or bridesmaid) is the best spot to be in, how one should ask another to be a bridesmaid, the slow evolution toward weekend long destination bachelorette parties and the t-shirts involved, a woman’s best friend and worst enemy – David’s Bridal, wedding cake, and whether the passed hours d’oeuvres or mashed potatoes are the best part of a wedding.
