"I think the beauty of life is following the questions and leaving them open often, rather than shutting down with answers... Sometimes an answer is like closing a door and I prefer to leave it open."
Episode #50 with Lance Peele
Lance Peele has lived life. Born in Canada during the "first snow fall of '62" he moved to Australia and the eastern suburbs of Victoria at a young age.
Having worked jobs as a Lumberjack, Pastor and currently as a High School Teacher, he has vast experience to call on. Add to that he is a Marriage Celebrant whilst also having a knack for home made sourdough, pumpkin soup and growing bulk bok choy.
In this conversation, Lance opens up on some vulnerable topics, such as his life as a teacher, having friends across wide age gaps & how he's navigated those and the importance of being creative.
Lance also speaks candidly about his dealings with depression, and is super vulnerable around this topic in something that is clearly so close to home.
We also touch on religion and how that relates to being human in this day and age, the importance of timing and so much more! Even some poetry...
It's a colourful conversation from a man who as I said at the top, has lived a life, and will continue to do so, I'm sure.
Thanks again to Lance for taking the time.
Please enjoy this conversation with him.
Much love,
Rien
